Terms of Service & Policies


We understand that plans may change, and unforseen circumstances can arise.  To provide optimal service to all our clients, we require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.  Failure to provide at least 24 hours notice before the scheduled appointment will need to remit payment in the amount of $25 for every service cancelled before rebooking another appointment.  Your understanding and cooperation ensure that we can accommodate the needs of all our valued clients effectively.


To optimize your experience, we request that guests arrive 5 minutes early for their appointments.  Late arrival's may affect the completion of your full service, delays exceeding 15 minutes may lead to a reduction in service time or the need to reschedule to ensure the quality of our services.


I understand that my stylist may take before and/or after photos of my hair, face, and likeness.  I give my permission for said photos to be shared digitally or in printed form.


All prices are base prices and are subject to change based on hair length, density, color usage and other factors.


I understand that my stylist will work to achieve the agreed upon result.  Should I feel the result differs from what we agreed to achieve, I have 7 days to request a service adjustment free of charge.  If I do not request a service adjustment within 7 days of the services rendered, I understand that I am no longer entitled to a service adjustment and any changes requested will have to be paid services.  I understand that if I change my mind and now desire a result that differs from what was discussed in the consultation, I am not entitled to a service adjustment.


I agree to be fully honest and transparent with my stylist as we talk about my hair history.  I understand that anything I've done previously to my hair and anything I may choose to do in the future will affect the results of services received at the salon.  I understand that falsification of hair history will result in an undesirable outcome including, but not limited to:  hair breakage, uneven color, undesirable color, irreparable damage, hair loss. Should any of the above occur and it is determined that I have falsified hair history, I will not be entitled to any reparative services, treatments, or refunds.


At Ginger Roots Studio, the safety and security of our clients and staff are our top priorities.  Therefore, all appointments are subject to cancellation at the salon's discretion if any situation arises that may compromise the well-being of those present.  In the event of illness-related concerns, we reserve the right to reschedule appointments, making every effort to accommodate your needs while prioritizing everyone's health.  


All data gathered on the new-client intake form and online booking system is for sole use of Ginger Roots Studio and will not be sold to any 3rd party companies.  All information shared is used exclusively for the purpose of providing the customer the highest quality service and will not be used for any other purpose. 


For the safety and comfort of all clients, please ensure children under the age of 14 are supervised by an adult.  As our space is limited, we appreciate clients refraining from bringing children to their appointments for a more relaxed focused experience.


We prioritize your satisfaction with our products. If you're unsatisfied within 30 days of purchase, we will exchange it for another product to best fit your needs.  Please note that we do not offer refunds.  All brushes, and styling tools are final sale.
